For the first time ever, Bhojpuri Actor Manoj Tiwari is going to do a horror movie Laal Lugga (Red Saree), which is also being publicised as first Bhojpuri thriller. "Well, I had seen the story, and I want to assure you that it’s more thrilling than it sounds. For a moment, even I was quite horrified, while reading the script," said Manoj Tiwari, after muhurt function, which took place last week at Mumbai.
The film is presented by Mahesh Pandey, who produced Ghar-Duaar, Ham Bal Brahmchari tu Kanya Kumari, & Gabbar Singh earlier on. The film is being directed by Manjul Thakur, whose last release Brijawa had good box-office collection.
"Since almost past six months, we have been working on this script, and I am sure this will be more threatening and horrifying than Hindi movies of similar type. When we requested Manoj Tiwari to play lead, he promptly accepted, after looking at the script," said Mahesh Pandey.
Sangam Lal Gupta, Alok Kumar, Dev Pandey, Sandeep Pandey, Seema Pandey, Priya, Phool Singh, Mahesh Raj, Kumar Mohan, Chandu Singh, Deepak Dutta, Umesh Singh, Maya Yadav, Riya Walia, Pushpa Verma, Babar Hasmi and many big names of Bhojpuri and television industry were present at the muhurt function at Trio Digital Studio (Mumbai).
The film will go on floor in the month of January.
