Everyone was dancing on very passionate "Kajari" (a singing style) of Malini, and It seemed like an evening, residents of Delhi will remember for a long time. Awadhi & Bhojpuri Singer Malini Awasthi was there to perform at a cultural program organised by "Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Kala Kendra".
When Malini started singing from the best of Banarasi, Awadhi and Mirzapuri Kajari, the situation became so electrifying that even people of 50+ years age group were not able to stop themselves from dancing.
"I love this kind of stage show, and I try to give my 100% in these shows. This reminds us of our rich culture and traditional values," said Malini, immediately after the show.
Last year, Malini came to limelight in NDTV Imagine's popular show "Junoon", and since then she has never looked back. Malini is now in the panel of Judeges for "Sur Sangram", Mahuaa's famous reality show.

I belong to Punjab by birth but fron Basti,UP and i really feel proud of my soil & mother tounge when listen it in your voice and really i was proud when you won the Program i think was JUNOON . But i am very sad to say that after a lot of tries i was fauled to find a pure awadi casset of yours or some one other who is having really pure and simple awadhi language instead of bhojpuri. So please if possible i need any of your collection very baddly and i will be thankfull to you.
